My lil' man!

On October 8th,2009 at 9:10AM, Hunter Bryce Ollerton was born! He was 6pounds 1ounce and 19 1/2 inches long. Fierce little cryer from the get go! Mom, Dad, Grandma and Jessica were all part of the welcoming birthday crew-for a full 24hours in the hospital but only 9hours of "labor" well, from the time they gave me the pitocin at midnight and then the epidural at 330am. I started pushing at 9:07am and he was out and in my arms minutes later! What a wonderful moment! I have never felt so happy and amazed then at the moment i first looked into my little sons eyes! WOW! I'm a mommy! Hard to believe and is still so surreal. He's already a week old!
Time flies!!

back In phoenix...

So, since Donny deployed I have been busy packing and getting ready to move back to Phoenix to be close to family during teh very stressful and exciting time before and after Hunter arrives. I am almost all settled in my new little apartment, spending time with the family and getting ready-starting the countdown until Hunter is here-only 56 days left!(Assuming he is on his due date) We'll see! Cant wait. I miss California alot, especially the beach and the weather, but We'll be back soon enough! Maybe a couple months after Hunter is born we'll get him to the beach :) Dons been emailing and sending some pictures of the places he's been. He also has been doing some snorkeling-he sent me a picture of him pretending to be a shark- and I couldnt help but love it and had to post it!

In the Moment 4D Ultrasound-Hunter!!!

So we were just out and about, talking about how Donny missed the big boy/girl sonogram, so he said 4D? Of course!? So we found the place his sister loved! And this was our result, the pics are in! :) He is so cute! The doc told Don to poke my tummy and we watched Hunter squirm :) Another fun moment, when he showed us that he was a boy, Don was excited, but already knew, and Baby Hunter squirmed and gave us a thumbs up :)!!! Just wonderful!

The Boys

A dachshund, and a shih tzu. Anyone need a dog? They are super cute, but obnoxious and super sneaky! Bandit(the dachshund) is too smart for his own good! He climbs onto the side table takes hershey kisses and runs under our bed with them. Eats them through the foil wrapper, and then comes back for more. He may have thought he was being sneaky until I noticed a huge dent in the bowl, and foil on his face. But, he learned his lesson hopefully because now he is sick-too much cholcolate!Wickett, the shih tzu, is much more behaved. He gives high-fives, shakes, rolls over and occasionally wets the bed?! Not fun, its like sleeping in the same bed as a 3-year old during potty training. When he has to go, sometimes instead of getting out of bed and going for the doggie door, he stands up in our bed and goes, then gets down and lays on his own bed. Thanks dog! O well, one day they will spend the whole night in the kennel, and the rest of the day outside on the porch, they hate "being dogs". They whine and throw fits if we put them outside. Its truly sad! But they have their cute days! This week isn't one of them!

***Hunter***

Here are a couple pics of Hunter. He has 120 days to go! YEAH! Hes quite the cutey, getting big fast & is not even here yet! We are all very excited for him to join us! But he is making his presence known with lots of kicking and turning. Hurry up lil' man!

SO, my mom actually told me she had a "blogspot", so I went to check it out, and haven't left! Thanks mom! Now I have set one up, not nearly as good as hers, but Im working on it. I have to upload my pictures and get them up here, so I can catch up to her! Hopefully, I can get some new pictures taken of me and Donny and what were up to, since I always leave my camera whenever we leave the house. I'll just have to keep it in my purse from now on, so we can really get some pictures of us. He's leaving in July and we have a lil' boy coming due in October, so if I can get this thing going, it will be something he can look at while he's deployed and keep him updated...

Getting Started

Hey, this is my first post! Just getting started! Hopefully, I'll have new things to keep everyone informed about what is going on with The Ollertons. So far, nothing to exciting is happening, but in the coming months there will be a lot of excitement!

All about Us!

My photo
San Diego, CA, United States
Im the mommy of a beautiful and smart little 2 year old boy named, Hunter. he is very energetic and loves dancing and exploring. My husband, Don, is in the Navy, 13 years and counting! We live in sunny San Diego, Ca and we love it here! Our extended family lives all over from Phoenix, Oregon, and as far as Cuba! We visit our families often, but sometimes not all of us can make it, as Don deploys almost every year! We do what we can!
